Dapoxetine is the first pharmaceutical medication intended to treat premature ejaculation. Initial studies have shown increases in staying power from the beginning of intercourse to double in men taking 60 mg of Dapoxetine before sexual activity.
Dapoxetine is classified as a selective serotonin uptake inhibitor (SSRI).
