Transderm Patches are prescribed to prevent symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. It is also prescribed for patients recovering from the use of anesthesia in surgery. Its effectiveness derives from its ability to block the transmission of neural impulses in the gastrointestinal tract.

Transderm Patches have few side effects. They are relatively minor but may include blurred vision. confusion, disorientation, dry mouth, dilated pupils, difficulty urinating, and skin rash. Patients who experience severe dizziness, eye pain, or rapid pulse should remove the patch right away and consult with their health care providers. If allergy symptoms occur such as skin rash, itchiness, swollen lips and tongue, or difficulty breathing, the patient's health care provider should be contacted as soon as possible.
